Using artificial intelligence techniques to search for crime evidence

      Author:
      El Sayed Mahmoud Yousef, Tarek
Abstract: In the field of criminal law, the use of artificial intelligence techniques raises many problems related to criminal liability, the extent of the permissibility of using these techniques in combating crimes, and the extent to which their use affects the freedoms of individuals. This research comes to shed light on the permissibility of using artificial intelligence techniques by security services in maintaining security, as well as in the field of predicting and combating crime. Through it, we attempt to expose ways of using artificial intelligence techniques in excavating evidence of crime and the extent of the legitimacy of that. The research also addresses exposure to the risks of the use of artificial intelligence by security services and its impact on protecting the right to privacy, all through the use of a comparative analytical approach.
